The 23th International Symposium on Molecular Beams

WELCOME TO ISMB2009

The XXIII International Symposium on Molecular Beams will be held between June 1–5, 2009 at the Bayshore Hotel in the city of Dalian, China.  This Molecular Beams Symposium, the 23rd of its series, will be focused on the experimental studies of molecular beams. The symposium will highlight the most recent advances made in the development of new molecular beam techniques and the applications of molecular beam techniques in the studies of fundamental physical, chemical and biological processes.  This symposium will feature invited talks, contributed talks and two poster sessions.  The XXIII ISMB will also have a special session to honor Prof. Vincenzo Aquilanti, Prof. Dieter Gerlich and Prof. Carl Lineberger for their outstanding contributions to the field of molecular beams research.

The city of Dalian sits on the southern tip of the Liaodong Peninsula in the northeastern part of China, facing the Bohai Sea and the Yellow Sea.  Dalian is also a major industrial and tourist port city with a beautiful coastline around the city.  Dalian can be easily reached internationally via Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong within China.
